Mr. Ellis focuses his practice in the area of civil litigation, particularly personal injury, medical malpractice, and motor vehicle accident matters. He is admitted to both the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York. He presently serves as a member of the New York State Bar Association's Lawyer Assistance Committee, as well as the Committee on Attorney Well-Being.

Mr. Ellis is a graduate of Albany Law School. Prior to graduating from Albany Law School, cum laude, Mr. Ellis served as the President of the Albany Law School Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. He completed his undergraduate work at Marist College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in international business.
